Lyrics

Follow every word from the third chapter of the album.

I lace her gown with threads of gold
And hear the tales the courtiers told.
They speak of mountains, seas, and snow,
While I watch seasons come and go.

I know each secret in her heart,
The dreams she hides, the royal part.
Yet every story that I hear
Makes distant roads burn bright and clear.

Beyond these halls, beyond these gates,
A thousand roads await my fate.
And every wind that shakes the stone
Is calling me to walk alone.

Beyond, beyond the castle walls,
I hear the wild horizon call.
No crown to bear, no court to please,
Just open skies and ancient trees.

And if I lose my way someday,
At least I’ll have a tale to say:
The maid who left her name behind
To chase the dreams she longed to find.

At dawn I stand beside her throne,
While distant envoys journey home.
Their banners fade into the light,
Yet fill my restless heart at night.

A traveler rides across the square,
With road-worn boots and windswept hair.
And in his smile I plainly see
The world that waits beyond for me.

Beyond, beyond the castle walls,
I hear the wild horizon call.
No crown to bear, no court to please,
Just open skies and ancient trees.

And if I lose my way someday,
At least I’ll have a tale to say:
The maid who left her name behind
To chase the dreams she longed to find.

When moonlight falls on towers high,
I close my eyes and start to fly.
Through shadowed woods and rivers wide,
Where endless wonders wait outside.

Let silk and silver stay with queens,
I need the dust, the rain, the green.
A servant’s hands, a fearless heart,
Tonight my hidden life can start.

Beyond, beyond the castle walls,
I answer when the freedom calls.
I’ll cross the mountains, brave the seas,
And follow every wandering breeze.

No crown to bear, no court to please,
Just open skies and ancient trees.
The girl who served behind these walls
Will find the world when morning calls.

The gates grow small behind my stride,
The dawn is gold, the road is wide.
